StockUP: The Clinic is a supply chain learning simulation set in a health clinic in Sub-Saharan Africa. Players make ordering decisions, stock management choices, forecasts, and more. Players level up as they master over 15 key skill areas needed to manage critical medicines and supplies. StockUP: The Clinic is a free application developed by the Center for Applied Research in Supply Chain and Innovation – Africa (CARISCA). CARISCA is a joint project of Arizona State University in the United States and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
CARISCA’s key objective is to support higher education institutions in building the capacity necessary to provide best-in-class degree programs and training, facilitate research translation and utilization, and engage stakeholders in best practices and policy changes that strengthen supply chains.
CARISCA is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the Innovation, Technology and Research Hub in the Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation.
